After college, I worked in broadcast journalism for radio and television stations for a few years before branching off into public relations. There I had many occasions to purchase printing which later led to an interest in printing sales. I feel fortunate to have been both, a print buyer and a print seller. I can relate to customers’ concerns because I’ve been there myself.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from Illinois State University and have completed 27 hours of graduate work. I sometimes joke about my mini lectures on communication theory, but I actually use much of what I’ve learned in graduate classes.

What impresses me most about Premier Print Group is the “can do” attitude toward getting the job done. Whether in prepress, the pressroom or bindery department, if something doesn’t seem right, we question it and fix it.

I appreciate clients talking with me in the conceptual stages of a project. Solutions that sometimes don’t occur to my client often surface when we explore the possibilities together. I also like hearing that a printed project led to an increase in participation or jump in sales. That’s my most satisfying moment and why I do this job.

I live in Urbana, Illinois with my son, Brian, who is in eighth grade. I enjoy golf, gardening, woodworking, and remodeling .
