I joined Premier Print Group shortly after receiving my business degree from Eastern Illinois University. I was promised an intense training program that would lead into sales and believe me, it was intense for almost a year and a half.

I started off in customer service and worked my way through all production departments and spent some time in shipping, as well. I gained invaluable printing industry knowledge and learned the workings of a great company from the inside out.

I remember how impressed I was in the beginning with the big shiny equipment. At that time I had no idea that names like Heidelberg and Komori on presses indicated we were running the very best. I also didn’t appreciate the far-reaching benefits of all the technology I was seeing and working with, or what the industry would be like without it.

But equipment and technology aside, I am grateful for having the opportunity to work alongside a great team of highly-skilled craftsmen. Beyond their talents, it was their passion for producing excellence, and for making every client’s project successful, that impressed me most.

While I was growing up, my father would always encourage me to give 110% effort. Though that advice was usually given regarding my athletic pursuits, over the years it has become a guiding principle in my life. It is wonderful to know that my clients can expect me to go the extra mile for them, and I can know the people backing me up will do the same.

All of this helps me to continue to develop solid, lasting relationships with my clients. It also enables me to greet each day with excitement and enthusiasm, and makes me proud to be part of a great company.

In my spare time, I still enjoy participating in a variety of sports, basketball and golf being my favorites. I also coach youth sports in the community.
